Most gyms usually have these equipments available but you can buy your own if you’re sensitive about using stuff shared by different people.

Muay Thai, just like other martial arts is quite physically demanding in nature so the risk of getting an injury can never be excluded. However, your personal trainer or instructor will always see to it to make the sport as safe as possible. You shouldn’t even attempt to learn a martial art if you don’t want to get hurt in the first place.
